Stichting Maanzaad has invited 12 "future thinkers" to share their stories about the Westplein and its surroundings. The Westplein, located at the head of Lombok, will soon be transformed into the Lombokplein. The most significant change is that the Leidsche Rijn will reappear above ground, but what else is there to tell about this area?

The 12 future thinkers come from different ages and cultural backgrounds, but they share one thing in common: they can already envision the Lombokplein of 2035. They are all pioneers, like the poppy, and their ideas are like seeds falling into the soil. They take us into their vision of the new urban space. What will they see, feel, and smell when standing on that square? Has something been built there? Is there something happening? Who will they meet there? Some of these 12 speak from their professional expertise as landscape architects, social workers, urban planners, or city planners. Others share their stories as local residents who have become experts through experience.

Journalist Bo Steehouwer, Bart Snijder, technician and editor of Lombok Talks, and Matthijs Meulblok from studio 'Hoedje van papier' contributed to the realization of the podcast.
