We would like to invite you to a special gathering on Friday, September 27th. During this event, the results of neighborhood interviews and the temporary art installations at the future Lombokplein (currently Westplein) will be presented. For the art project Wat Maakt West!? artists have created works in response to the past, present, and future of Lombokplein. Below is the program:

- Workshop: dance workshop by De Voorkamer.

- Quickly get to know everyone with the special Neighbourhood Bingo by Perron West.

- Social gathering from 6:30 – 8:00 PM: time to chat while enjoying snacks and drinks.

Art & Research

Lombok Times by Noor Bootsma: we present the results of the Lombok Times, a newspaper in which local residents share their visions for the future of the square. Noor will discuss the design of the newspaper.

A Liminal Spaceby Sarah Kaushik: a green oasis in the middle of the city, inspired by stories from Lombok.

Poppy Seed by Marij Nielen: an artwork that highlights the rich future of the Westplein.

Grondstof by Take a Detour: a collaborative carpet that reveals the layers of Lombok, made by local residents.

Stop by, meet other residents, involved organizations, and artists, and be inspired by the art and stories that make Lombok so special. You are most welcome!
